The Land Cruiser
We bought a well-used LWB 45 series Land Cruiser, which was one of the last to roll off the conveyor belt in Japan in 1984. It came with standard disk brakes in the front, power steering, and a full-floating limited-slip axle. Together with the über-simple four cylinder, natural-aspired diesel plant sans CPU, this Land Cruiser was a reliable choice for a long, still ongoing, overland journey.
If you don’t understand any of the above-mentioned terms, don’t worry, in 2003 we didn’t either.
We Rob Banks
That’s why we are on the move all the time 😉
All jokes aside, do you wonder if we’re millionaires? Whether we won the lottery? How do we finance such an extensive trip? Coen’s standard reply is that we rob banks, but that is not true, of course. Or is it?

For many years we carried postcards in the truck in case someone wanted to buy them on the road, plus we could send them across the world easily. However, T-shirts are a different ballgame. We’d need a trailer to stock the variety of shirts we sell. That’s why we teamed up with strategic partners around the globe.
