Coen Goes Birdwatching in Guyana

|

Guyana has us entranced for weeks.

What a surprising country, in so many ways.

From visiting an Awarak Community to seeing the gold-mining business from up close to a mind-blowing wilderness and vastness of the Rupununi Savanna.

The latter covers a large part of the country and only parts of it are accessible by road. While part of the year dry and seemingly empty of wildlife, it teems with birdlife when the savannah gets a fair share of rain.

Here are among Coen’s favorite moments with his camera in the Rupununi Savanna.
